One of the questions we hear most often here at the Female Sterilisation Reversal Clinic is, “How can I increase my chances of getting pregnant after female sterilisation reversal surgery?” If you’re asking yourself that same question, you’re in the right place!
There are many things you can do to help increase your chances of getting pregnant once you’ve had your surgery. Let’s go over a few of them today.
Take Good Care of Yourself
Achieving pregnancy quickly means taking good care of your body. It’s a good idea to watch your diet, and make sure you’re getting plenty of fruits, vegetables and protein every day. Also, get enough exercise as often as you can during the week without overdoing it. Maybe you can start taking a walk in the morning as a way to start your day. Eating right and exercising will position you to feel nice and tired at night, which will encourage your body to get the sleep it needs.
Take Good Care of Your Relationship
We understand that you want to have another baby very, very badly. However, be sure to take good care of your relationship during this important time. Go on dates with your partner, and talk about your day, your hobbies, and your other children. Try not to centre your conversations on getting pregnant, and use this time to enjoy the one you love.
Most of all…relax! This can be a very anxiety-ridden time if you allow it to be. Many women fret about getting pregnant so much that they can actually throw their cycles off, which can make getting pregnant so much harder. The more relaxed you are, the better you’re going to feel. The better you feel, the quicker you’ll conceive.
