Many women who have had a tubal ligation find themselves wishing that they could have another baby. This happens for a variety of reasons. Some of them realise that they wanted to have more kids a few years down the road. Others have significant changes in their lives and they want to be able to have just one more child.
Fortunately, reversal of female sterilisation is an option that’s available to you. The hard part is knowing how to relax and wait for conception to occur. To help, we’ve compiled a list of things you can do to help you relax while you wait for that positive pregnancy test.
Relaxation Tip #1: Take up a new sport
While you might not think of taking up a new sport as relaxation, doing something new that you enjoy will allow you to keep your mind occupied on something other than whether or not you will get pregnant. It’s even better if your partner can join in, so that this is something you do together.
Relaxation Tip #2: Start a blog
If you like to write, chances are you already have a blog (or two) that you are working on. However, if blogging is new to you, it can be a great outlet for a lot of things. You can write about your interests, or you can write about any current events. Basically, it’s yours to do whatever you want with, and it can be very therapeutic.
Relaxation Tip #3: Begin a new hobby
Maybe you’re not sporty or creative, but you do have something you’ve always wanted to try. This is the perfect time to start a new hobby, especially if there’s an activity you’ve been putting off doing for a long time. Why not take a cooking class, or take up stamp collecting? Anything you can immerse yourself in will end up being very relaxing for you.
The main idea behind relaxation is allowing your body time to prepare to get pregnant. Our minds and our bodies share a powerful connection, and when you take the time to properly prepare your mind, your body will follow much sooner.
